A cosy cafe that is unexceptional its food and drink but is really made by the friendly and local feel. The decor is quite plasticky, which might put some off. But it is in Eltham. Come here for a bit of lunch and you'll find something you fancy to eat, have some reasonably coffee and feel relaxed and looked after.

Great little cafe just off the high street serves a great breakfast and lovely bubble & squeek. Staff are friendly and polite. A wide range of meals on the menu. Very popular with locals

This is a great little cafe, perfect for a bit of lunch. It is run by a lovely old Italian guy who serves all the drinks and is really sweet! They do great sandwiches (especially a lovely chicken escalope in a granary bap) everything comes with a little salad and is lovely and fresh. The coffee is great too and the cakes look delicious though I've yet to try them. There are quite a few tables inside (it looks really small from the outside but it is deceptively bigger than it looks) and it is a nice cosy spot off the high street. Everyone in there is really friendly too. There is a more traditional greasy spoon next door if you're after a cheap and cheerful breakfast but I have to say that I think that Cafe Dee outstrips them by miles.
